Participation at the inaugural Sister Cities International All Americas Summit We participated in the Municipal Best Practices and Technical Exchange Seminar
The Summit was a resounding success, with 460 attendees from 20 countries, and 128 cities from around the world. Truly, the feedback from attendees was highly appreciative of the excellent opportunity to explore innovative and sustainable ways for our cities and countries to collaborate on key issues such as economic cooperation, global challenges, and cultural diplomacy. Even to this day, two months after the event, we continue to get feedback about ideas that spun off the summit and have become separate initiatives.
The fruitful conversations and exchange of ideas with leaders from government, business, academia, and civil society opened new avenues for unity and strength across the Americas and the world. The City of San Antonio was honored to host this Summit and we were delighted by the outcome and the welcoming spirit shown by our community.
